WHAT ARE WE TRING TO ACCOMPLISH IN SINGING HYMNS IN PUBLIC WORSHIP?
To create a moment, a space, where the music, the words, the voices of the congregation and are just … so… where there is an deep outpouring of love and adoration to our God … and, as two or more are gathered together, the Holy Spirit enters in and gloriously fills the room.
To create a space where the sweet aroma of our praise to our God rises and swirls about our heads to the heavens … and a sense of angelic song plays at the edge of perception.
To worship.
In spirit and in truth.
To glorify HIM.
